Account & Data Deletion

Delete your Beat It account directly in the app. Understand what happens to your history, connected services and Apple subscription.

In-app steps Data removed Timing Need help?

Important: account deletion does not stop Apple billing.

An App Store subscription is separate from your Beat It account. Manage or cancel your subscription with Apple if you want to stop renewal. You can still delete your account immediately without waiting for a subscription to end.

1. Delete your account inside Beat It

You do not need to call us, send an email, buy Pro or visit this website to use the normal in-app deletion flow. Use an internet connection and follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings in Beat It. Choose Account and data. This is an item in Settings, not a separate Account tab.
  2. Choose Delete account. Read what will be removed and the warning about App Store subscription billing.
  3. Confirm the request. If you use Sign in with Apple, follow the Apple sign-in confirmation when requested. This verifies that the account is yours and allows the associated Apple authorization to be revoked.
  4. Wait for the result. Keep the app connected while the request runs. Successful deletion removes the active account and signs you out. If the app reports an error, do not assume the process finished; retry or contact support.

Button names may be translated if your app uses another language. The in-app route is also available from a free account.

2. What is removed — and what is separate

Beat It account data

  • Your active account and associated authentication record.
  • Profile details and account preferences.
  • Workout history, exercise logs and sets.
  • Your workout plans, custom exercises, goals and related training or plateau-program records.

Connected services

  • The linked Apple authorization is revoked for an Apple-created account.
  • The associated RevenueCat customer record is removed by the deletion workflow.
  • Deletion of account-linked PostHog data is requested where applicable. External jobs can continue after active-account deletion.

This does not delete your Apple Account or Google Account. Nor does it remove Apple’s independent transaction records, records a provider must retain by law, or copies of progress you shared with other people or apps. Residual backup copies, where maintained, expire according to the applicable backup cycle rather than being removed from every backup instantly.

See the Privacy Policy’s retention section for the purpose-based retention criteria and exceptions. If you need details about a particular record, ask support.

3. Timing and confirmation

The app confirms the result of deleting the active Beat It account; this is not a guarantee that every external deletion job or backup expiry has completed at that instant. If additional processing time or lawful retention applies to your request, we will explain what remains, why and the expected timing.

For a request handled through support, we verify ownership and confirm the outcome. GDPR requests are handled without undue delay and normally within one month. If a lawful extension is needed, we explain it within the first month. We do not require you to wait for the end of an active subscription before requesting deletion.

Deletion cannot be undone from the app.

A new account or a restored App Store purchase does not recover your deleted workout history. If you need a copy of your data, request it from support before you delete the account.

4. No longer have the app, or something went wrong?

The direct in-app flow is the normal route. If you no longer have the app, cannot access your account, or the deletion flow fails, email david@webwrk.nl with the subject Beat It account deletion request.

  • Tell us that you want your Beat It account and associated personal data deleted.
  • Tell us whether you used Apple or Google sign-in. If you know the account email address, include it.
  • If Apple Hide My Email supplied a relay address, mention this. You do not need to be able to send email from that relay address; we will arrange proportionate ownership verification.
  • Never send your password, one-time verification code, full payment-card number, government ID or complete medical history in an initial email.

We may ask for information necessary to verify that the account is yours. Email assistance is an alternative for access problems; it is not a compulsory extra step after a successful in-app deletion.

5. Prefer to change a setting instead?

You can turn off optional analytics in Settings → Account and data or change iOS notification permission without deleting your account. Turning off analytics stops future optional collection, but does not automatically delete already processed server events. Contact us for a targeted deletion request if you want to keep your account.

Uninstalling the app or signing out is not account deletion. Your account data may remain available until you delete it through the app or an appropriately verified request.
